Over Labor Day weekend, my sister, grandma, and I went to the Civil War Reenactment  in Fort Stevens, OR to watch the battle and see my sister’s friend, one of the reenactors. Thinking we’d just swing by for a bit and leave, I plopped just 2 rolls of film (12 shots per roll) in my bag. Little did I know what a large production it is and how elaborate and detailed the whole event is!  It was fascinating and I could easily have spent an entire day wondering around, making photographs, and learning about that time period. I highly recommend attending if you are in the area and have the opportunity. Having history acted out before your eyes makes it all much more intriguing and real.

You can see the entire event or order prints HERE.
